Loony Lady Catherine

Today I had a visit from the most awful, naiive woman in the world, Lady Catherine De Bourgh. Apparently, she has heard a rumor that  Mr. Darcy and I are to be engaged, and she came down to have me swear to never marry him. How ridiculous! That woman's conceit actually made her believe she could force someone to promise such a thing, oh she toyed with the wrong girl! I assured her such a promise but impossible!
